Political scientist, sociologist and historian, lecturer at the Department of European Union Politics at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw. A specialist in the economic policy of the European Union, public management, the theory of European integration and geoeconomics. His habilitation thesis was entitled “Europe at the Crossroads”. In 2021, together with prof. Zbigniew Krysiak, he developed the report “Balance of financial transfers between the European Union and Poland”. As he later commented, “Instead of building the advantages of domestic enterprises, the burden of transformation rested on the shoulders of external investors. The European Commission clearly supported such processes and even provided logistical support or subsidized government agencies serving external investors and privatization processes in Central European countries. For a long time, such a model of development was beneficial for Poland, although it resulted in an imbalance of financial flows beneficial to Western corporations. However, along with the processes of economic convergence, and thus the increase in wages in our country, this model ceases to be functional”.
