It is no secret that Europe is increasingly moving away from its Christian roots, which has a direct impact on all areas of its life – from economic, through political, to social. The Institute of Schuman Thought, together with conservative politicians and eminent experts, decided to tackle this problem. The result of this is the conference “Christian and Social Thought in shaping the future of Europe”, which will be held on May 10 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, to which we cordially invite everyone concerned about the future of our European community.
In the minds and hearts of EU mainstream politicians, true values lose out to destructive, ideological constructs, and decisions are made in isolation from reality, in the spirit of left-wing utopia. The destruction also includes societies, which will undoubtedly be important for their future existence.
By of concern for the common good, which is the European Union, and the value of sovereign nations and their citizens, we wish to restore the proper place for Christian social thought, so that it will set the direction for the further development of the European Union. Motivated by this desire, we invite you to the conference “Christian and Social Thought in shaping the future of Europe”, which will be held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, room WEISS N1.3, on May 10, 2023, from 14:30 to 17:00.
