On June 26, the Schuman Summer Academy begins in Rybaki near Olsztyn. Several hundred young people from all over Poland will have the opportunity to meet outstanding experts, broaden their horizons and try their skills at workshops specially organized for them. All this in the beautiful surroundings of forests and Łańskie Lake.
Among the invited experts were prof. His wisdom and legacy can not only help restore the Christian values on which Europe was built for 2000 years, but also to create a Community of Europe based on unity, solidarity and peace as the main goal of Schuman’s idea, which is to be an inspiration to act for the good of our homeland, strengthening its sovereignty, tradition and patriotism in the context of building community relations with other nations” – he says prof. Zbigniew Krysiak, chairman of the Program Council of the Institute of Schuman’s Thought, thus pointing to the motives that are to be a contribution to discussion during the Academy, participation in workshops and an important signpost for undertaking joint activities by people gathered at the Academy.
“The events at the Academy will focus on specific problems raised by Robert Schuman and important for the current social, economic, cultural, educational, scientific and spiritual life, and the participants and invited guests will look for the best ways to implement his thoughts in the form of workshops, open discussions intellectual and physical activities” – he adds.
In addition to intellectual activities, the organizers also took care of the spiritual formation of the participants – the schedule included Holy Masses and an evening of worship. They also did not forget about integration and entertainment through a series of cultural and sports events.
