Poland least at risk of poverty and social exclusion among EU countries

According to the latest published Eurostat research, Poland is one of the countries with the lowest percentage of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion.

In 2021, 95.4 million people in the EU (21.7%) were at risk of poverty or exclusion. Poland is a country with one of the lowest percentages of such people. The risk of poverty or exclusion was higher for women than for men. Professional status is also important.

Poland also has one of the lowest rates of material and social deprivation.
