“Poland was with us before and during the Russian aggression and will be with us, I am sure, until our full victory” – Volodymyr Zelensky said after the end of talks with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. “Poland is one of the most important allies of Ukraine, which provides help and I thank the Prime Minister for that, I thank the Polish society for this support” – he added. “We have received the first tanks from Poland, they will strengthen our defense. Poland is the leader of the international coalition on this issue” – Ukrainian president emphasized.

For his part Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki assured about continued Polish support for a neighbor fighting against Russian aggression.

“I came here not only with a word of support. Poland was the first to build a coalition supporting Ukraine. Today I want to hand over the first 4 Leopards – these are tanks that will stand in your ranks on the battlefield, and soon we will hand over more” – the head of the Polish government announced. “I also bring greetings from all Ukrainian women and children who found shelter in Poland and I can assure you, dear soldiers, that they are safe and feel at home with us” – he assured.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki emphasized that “in the free world there is no place for ‘Russkiy Mir'”. “Today I want to tell all Ukrainians that you are not alone. Russian propaganda is trying to drive a wedge between our countries, but Poland, Europe and the whole free world stand behind you” – he declared.
